The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) on Tuesday, allocated the sum of N3,736, 038, 550.20 billion to the Six Area Councils in the FCT and other stakeholders as its share of statutory allocation for the month of February 2021.
FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, who was represented at the occasion by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) , Permanent Secretary, Mr. Olusade Adesola, at the 151st Joint Area Councils Allocation Committee (JAAC), indicated that the was a decline compared to January’s allocation.
He further lamented that in the month of January, the total sum of N3,825,254,760.45 billion was disbursed to the six area councils and other stakeholders, while the sum of N3,736,038,550.20 billion was allocated to the six area councils and other stakeholders in February, explaining that there was a shortfall from the federation account.
