WHO Launches Initiative To Eradicate Malaria In 25 Countries By 2025

The World Health Organisation (WHO) is launching a new initiative which is targeted to stop the transmission of malaria in 25 more countries by 2025.

The initiative is to be launched on World Malaria Day on April 25. Thailand, South Africa and Saudi Arabia are among the countries the WHO aimed to make malaria-free.

The 25 countries would receive specialised support and technical guidance to help eradicate the disease.
